Passionate About Seeing You on Your Way

Zach's House was founded in 2019 as a means of continuing to make free financial coaching available to veterans, military and first responders after a government sponsored financial coaching program ended. Two biblical stories provide special focal points.

Acts 3:1-8 tells of Peter a follower of Jesus, and his encounter with a crippled man begging for money. Peter responded, "Silver and gold (money) I do not have; but what I do have, I will give you: in the name of Jesus...walk!" Peter grabbed the man's hand and helped him stand up. At once the man's feet and ankles became strong and steady. He could walk on his own and pursue the life he wanted. At Zach's House we do not have money to give you, but we can give you a hand through conversation so you can overcome your obstacles and walk forward to the life you want.

In Luke 19, Jesus was coming. Zaccheus (the namesake of Zach's House) wanted to see Him, but Zach was too short. So Zach climbed a tree, expecting not to be noticed. Instead, of course, Jesus sees Zach and invites Himself to Zach's house. Zach is wealthy and despised because he has been habitually dishonest. The encounter with a non-judgmental, non-rejecting, loving Jesus changes Zach including how Zach handles his money.  At Zach's House, we see you. Working with our coaches is always a no-judgment zone. If there are areas of your finances you want to improve, we hope (and pray) through our coaching conversations, you will become the change you seek.

Each coach is certified both as a financial counselor (AFC) and financial fitness coach (FFC). Read more about YOUR COACHES

What to expect in a coaching session is to be heard. Coaches are trained to ask questions which help move you forward to what is most important to you according to your agenda.  Sessions are by phone or video conference. Initial sessions may be one to two hours. Follow-up sessions are optional and last up to an hour. Everything shared in sessions is confidential. To schedule a session click here. You will be asked some questions as part of the scheduling process as part of getting to know you and your situation.

Zach's House is a 501(c)3 non-profit, incorporated in California.
